Doctor's Data has been in constant communication with FedEx to continue to offer fast shipping during the evolving COVID-19 crisis. FedEx has procedures in place that pertain to local shelter in place orders, which may impact the delivery of kit orders to a commercial location. If FedEx makes the determination that your business is closed, your package may be held or returned to Doctor's Data .

We have worked closely with FedEx to comply with these procedures, including adding additional labels on kit orders that will flag these packages as medical supplies. We are also requesting additional information from clients when kit orders are placed, such as business open hours/days, to then pass along to FedEx. Currently, specimen samples shipped to Doctor's Data from patients have been arriving at the lab without issue.

For faster, more direct service: we recommend that you call, email, or fax in your kit order to Doctor's Data. Kit orders placed online will be held, pending verification of operating days/hours of your business. You can still place drop-ships to your patient via the web portal.

When placing kit orders via phone, email, or fax, please provide the following information for your commercial location:

1) Is your business open and accepting packages?

2) What days of the week/hours are you operating at this location?

If you place an order via the web portal, a Customer Service associate will verify this information with you before we ship the order to your location. We will then label packages accordingly to move your shipment through the FedEx system.

Thank you for your patience during this difficult time. If you have questions, please contact Customer Service or your Account Executive.

In light of the COVID-19 crisis, Doctor's Data has decided to have all employees whose jobs are capable of being worked remotely begin doing so at the earliest opportunity. That will begin occurring this week in stages. We wanted to reach out to you and let you know that during this transition, it is certain that there will be some hiccups in the implementation. Our lab operations and test kit fulfillment will remain operational to meet the needs of your patients, offering fast turnaround times and convenient drop-shipping of test kits.

As a responsible corporate member of the community we feel it is our responsibility to follow CDC guidance as closely as possible in order to assist in protecting the public at large and the most vulnerable among us. We also hope that you, your staff and your families remain well and safe as we all look forward to a successful resolution of this situation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department or your sales representative.
